Mindful Movement

Mindful Movement is included in all our mindfulness courses.  With Mindful Movement you can use a variety of different forms of moving to help focus the mind on the present moment.

 

Mindful Movement consists of walking, simple exercises which can be done sitting or standing, Yoga, Chi gung and Tai Chi.

 

The aim is to help settle the mind through focussing on the actual movement itself, which is done slowly and by connecting the movement with the pace of breath.

 

These movements are adaptable and gentle and so suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

 

The main aim being focussing the mind rather than trying to conquer some difficult move!
